On December 11, Protein Port, together with the Good Food Institute and the Flemish protein ecosystem ProteInn Club, hosted a dynamic innovation day at the Biotech Campus Delft. The event brought together a carefully selected group of 60 participants, with a clear goal: to spark stronger collaboration between industry and academia in the Netherlands and Flanders.

The day focused on one of the most pressing challenges in the field, reducing the cost of fermentation-derived proteins. Through in-depth discussions and targeted matchmaking, participants explored opportunities to turn shared ambitions into concrete public-private partnerships.

With quality over quantity as a guiding principle, the event created space for meaningful connections and forward-thinking dialogue. The new relationships formed during the day now enable Protein Port to identify and support promising collaborations, helping accelerate innovation and impact across the protein ecosystem.
