Closeness of end- product to animal-based product

  • Similar to traditional proteins, but challenges remain (e.g. blood vascularization and fats);
  • Cultured meat and other cultivated animal proteins;
  • Maturity: First commercial sale approved in Singapore in December 2020 (Eat Just).
